Inter target Paulinho insists he is happy at current club Corinthians and wants to "reward" them by staying.
The 23-year-old has set the Brazilian top flight alive since joining Corinthians from lower league club Bragantino two years ago and was instrumental as they lifted their first ever Copa Libertadores title earlier this month. The midfielder's performances have fuelled interest from European clubs, including Inter Milan who were expected to make a move for him this summer. But Paulinho, who has one cap for Brazil, has put an end to the speculation by saying he wants to stay with Corinthians. "Corinthians are doing everything they can to keep me," he told reporters in Italy. "I want to remain here and I hope that my future is resolved as soon as possible so that I can play without having any distractions. "Inter have not spoken directly with me but they have spoken to my representatives. I want to reward Corinthians for their willingness to keep me."
