Juventus director Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed that Arturo Vidal is a target for Spanish giants Real Madrid, but he will not be sold.
The 24-year-old Chile international midfielder, who has a contract with Juve until summer 2016, has impressed for the Serie A leaders this season and that has alerted Real, who have been in touch with his agent Fernando Felicevich to discuss a possible deal.
However, Juve have spoken out to insist that they have no intentions of allowing Vidal to depart.
"It is true that Real Madrid have contacted his agent, but he is not for sale. I have made it clear to Felicevich, and indirectly to Madrid, that Vidal is not available, though," Marotta told Tuttosport.
"It's not a matter of negotiating a transfer fee. It's quite simple. Arturo is a key player for Juventus right now, and for the future. End of story."
