Lazio hope to land Gattuso

Lazio are hoping to sign experienced midfielder Gennaro Gattuso upon his exit from AC Milan this summer.

Gattuso decided not to sign a new deal at the San Siro and has ended a 13-year spell with the Rossoneri. Reports on Sunday in the Corriere dello Sport say Lazio have targeted the veteran midfielder and hope to persuade him to make the move to the capital where he would be reunited with another former Milan man, Cristian Brocchi. Gattuso has previously said he would like to go back to former club Rangers in Scotland but with their financial restrictions, that move appears unlikely. The reports say Lazio will offer Gattuso a two-year deal.
