Sporting director Sergio Gasparin says Catania are ready to sell Maxi Lopez after he told the club he no longer wants to play for them.

The 28-year-old forward spent the second half of last season on loan at Milan but did not do enough to earn himself a permanent deal at San Siro and has returned to Catania, where he has been included in their 32-man pre-season squad.
But Gasparin believes Lopez, who has said he would like to join Napoli, may disrupt the Catania camp and the club are now prepared to sell him if the right offer comes in.
"After Milan, he has expressed his intention not to return to Catania," Gasparin told Gazzetta dello Sport.
"He is currently in the 32 called for the withdrawal under [new Coach Rolando] Maran, but depending on different things we will make a decision.
"Each player at Catania must be committed to the shirt. Next week we will evaluate all situations relating to the player.
"It is clear that we are aiming for the most advantageous economic situation, to try to make as much as possible."
