Maggio in Lavezzi admission

Napoli full-back Christian Maggio has revealed Ezequiel Lavezzi wants to leave the club this summer for a top European side.

The highly-rated Argentina international has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan and Maggio admits the Napoli players have been aware of Lavezzi's desire to move on for a while. "We have known for some time that Pocho [Lavezzi] wants to leave the club," Maggio said. "The fact that big clubs are showing an interest in signing players like Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani shows that Napoli's football is being appreciated." Lavezzi is tied to Napoli until 2015 but reportedly has a release clause of €31 million.
