Matri eyes Old Lady stay
Juventus forward Alessandro Matri says he is determined to battle for a place and extend his stay with the Bianconeri.
The Italy international has been used largely as a squad player this season but did earn a place in the starting XI for their recent encounters with Inter Milan and Bayern Munich.
Matri's contract does not expire at the Juventus Stadium until 2017 and the 28-year-old is determined to see out his current deal with the Turin-based outfit.
He told Tuttosport: "I feel important and I like it here.
"It feels good to wear the black and white shirt. Even if I'm not playing in all the games, I am rewarded by the fact that I am playing for one of the best teams in the world."
