Mineiro in for Forlan

Inter Milan director Marco Branca revealed the club have received a bid from Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro for striker Diego Forlan.

The Uruguay international only joined Inter from Atletico Madrid last summer but has struggled in Serie A, with form and fitness limiting him to just two goals in 18 league appearances for the Nerazzurri. Mineiro have been tracking Forlan for some time and Branca admitted Inter are considering their offer for the 32-year-old. "It's true: we received a proposal from Atletico for Forlan," Branca told Uol Esporte. "We are in talks, but I cannot give any other information at this time. "Forlan is considering this possibility, but nothing has been decided yet. We are talking about it, but this is a complicated negotiation process."
