Parma will have to do without goalkeeper Antonio Mirante for the rest of the season after it was revealed that he has broken a finger.
The former Juventus shot stopper has played 29 times for Parma this term but has been ruled out of the club's final three games with Nicola Pavarini set to step in to replace him. The 28-year-old suffered the problem in Sunday's 2-1 win at Lecce on Sunday and was forced to leave the pitch an hour into the tie. Mirante has undergone scans which have revealed a fractured finger and he will have to watch the rest of the season from the sidelines. The Gialloblu have now secured their place in Serie A for next season and have 47 points from 35 games played with 18th-place Lecce stuck on 35 points and with it all still to do to survive.
