Napoli chase Rossi

Napoli have made contact with Villareal over a possible move for Giuseppe Rossi, according to the player's agent.

Rossi has been linked with a move away from El Madrigal following their relegation from La Liga last season and his agent, Federico Pastorello, believes the forward could move to Napoli, who are eyeing a replacement for Ezequiel Lavezzi. "I cannot exclude the possibility of a move to Napoli," he told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli. "Currently he is a Villarreal player, that's for sure. But, the market is open and we've yet to see its full potential. I cannot rule out a move to the Azzurri, I can't really exclude anything. "We are looking around to find the best solution that can be shared with Villarreal. I can confirm that De Laurentiis has already asked Villarreal about Rossi, but we have yet to have a concrete bid." Pastorello also revealed his client could leave the Spanish club for as little as €10 million, although Villareal would expect performance-based bonuses on top of that figure.
