No Inter bid for Catania star

Catania sporting director Sergio Gasparin insists there have been no bids for Alejandro Gomez despite Inter being strongly linked.

Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni is known to be a big admirer of the player and he put himself in the shop window with some excellent displays for the Sicilians last season.
The Argentine winger looks set to depart to a bigger club this summer and it was thought that the San Siro outfit would have tabled an offer in the region of 6million euros.
But Gasparin has made it clear that neither Inter nor any other clubs, have shown their hand to date.
"I can confirm that, with honesty, as I said last week - a genuine and concrete bid for Gomez has yet to be received," he said.
