Parma complete Pabon deal

Parma have completed the signing of Colombian striker Dorlan Pabon from Atletico Nacional on a five-year deal.

The Serie A outfit have moved to bolster their frontline following the departure of Italy playmaker Sebastian Giovinco to Juventus last week. Pabon scored 50 goals in 71 games for Atletico Nacional. "It is with great satisfaction that we announce the acquisition of Colombian striker Dorlan Pabon from Atletico Nacional Medellin," a club statement read. Meanwhile, Parma will not pursue their interest in attacking midfielder Omar El Kaddouri. Parma reached an agreement with Serie B side Brescia for the player but El Kaddouri was reportedly holding out for a move to Juventus. "Now, we are no longer interested. Parma don't like players who deem us as a back-up solution. The guy has never played in Serie A and his attitude disturbed us," Parma director general Pietro Leonardi told Sport Italia.
