Cesare Prandelli might quit the Italian national side after Euro 2012 to manage Inter Milan, reports in the Italian media claim.
The San Siro outfit are currently on their third coach of the season after Gian Piero Gasperini and Claudio Ranieri were both sacked for failing to meet the club's expectations. Andrea Stramaccioni is now in temporary charge of first-team affairs having stepped into the breach from the youth team set-up after Ranieri's dismissal back in March. But it appears likely that he will return to the Primavera set-up next season with a high-profile manager brought in before the start of next season. Prandelli is contracted to the Italian Football Federation until the summer of 2014, but he has admitted in the past that he does miss the day-to-day duties of club football. And reports on Monday suggest Nerazzurri chief Massimo Moratti is keen for the former Roma chief to be the next man to move into the Inter hot-seat.
