Roma Pellegrini interest confirmed

Manuel Pellegrini's agent has confirmed Roma made an enquiry to speak to the current Malaga manager.

Luis Enrique, who was sacked from Stadio Olimpico earlier this month after an unsuccessful year in charge and Roma are now considering Pellegrini, who guided Malaga to fourth in La Liga this season, as a replacement.
Pellegrini's agent Jesus Martinez affirmed the interest during an interview with Onda Cero but also said the former Real Madrid coach would be happy to fulfil his contract at La Roselada.
He said: "He's very happy with the experience in Malaga.
"Other decisions of the club have nothing to do with him and his clear aim is to continue Malaga's project with enthusiasm.
"Rumours of contact with Liverpool are not real. Roma called to know his situation but remember that Pellegrini has a contract to fulfill and is proud to do so.
"There is nothing to talk about in the whole affair."
