Giuseppe Rossi's agent has revealed the striker is looking to return to Italy this summer, with AC Milan a potential destination.

The 25-year-old is keen to leave current club Villarreal after they were relegated from La Liga in Spain but is sidelined with a knee injury until March. Despite his injury problems, there are plenty of clubs who are ready to take a chance on Rossi, with AC Milan and Tottenham having both been linked with him. Rossi's agent, Federico Pastorello, has now revealed his client wants to move back to Italy and would relish the chance to join AC Milan. Pastorello said: "Milan? I don't know if contact with the Rossoneri has been made, but Rossi would definitely say yes if he was approached by Milan. "For Giuseppe Rossi the transfer market will start in the last few weeks of the transfer window. He wishes to play in Serie A again and I expect a call from Italian clubs. "He could be very useful to Napoli and Roma. Inter also need younger players in their squad. Juventus lacks a top player and Milan have to replace the strikers that have left the club."
