Palermo coach Giuseppe Sannino is showing signs of pressure after reacting angrily to questions about when he might be sacked.
The Sicilian outfit welcome Cagliari to the Stadio Renzo Barbera on Saturday looking for their first points of the season following back-to-back defeats. President Maurizio Zamparini is not known for his patience but has repeatedly backed his coach and stressed that he will be in charge for the whole season. But the press do not believe his words as he has shown time and again to have little patience and, after setting the club the challenge of playing in the Champions League within four years, will want results to improve soon. And asked if he felt that Saturday's clash was vital for his future, the 55-year-old replied: "I am sick of being asked when I'll be fired. "I don't want to answer these questions any more. I am sick of being asked how long I'll last and when I'll be fired. It is difficult to be a coach at Palermo for this sort of behaviour too."
