Silva pens new Milan deal

Thiago Silva has signed a new improved contract at AC Milan on Monday afternoon, believed to be worth 6 million euros a season.

The Brazilian central defender has been heavily linked with big-spending French side Paris St Germain, who it was claimed were preparing a 50 million euros offer this summer.
However, the Italian giants have moved quickly to improve Silva's terms on the contract that he signed last summer which will keep him at the San Siro until summer 2016.
