Thiago Silva insists he is not interested in a move to Spain or England but has called on AC Milan to show ambition this summer.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a big-money move during the close season, with Barcelona and Manchester City reportedly tracking the defender. However, Silva revealed Milan have told him he is a key member of the side and is not for sale. "Am I tempted to play in the Premier League or La Liga? Absolutely not. I am happy at Milan and I want to stay," Thiago Silva told La Gazzetta dello Sport. Meanwhile, Silva has joined striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic in stating the squad needs investment over the next few months. "Milan are already a competitive side, but this season showed that in order to go further, we need more quality players," Silva added.
