Silva switch not linked to Ibra

Thiago Silva's agent insists the Brazilian's move to Paris Saint-Germain is in no way linked to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival.

The two AC Milan stars look set to leave Serie A and make a big-money move to the French capital, with both players given permission to talk to the cash-rich club. But is appears that the deal to take Silva has still to be concluded, with agent Paulo Tonietto admitting that there is still much to be agreed before his client will put pen to paper. "Nothing is concluded yet," he said. "Thiago and I have not even been invited to talk about anything and before any deal is closed we have to have our say." And Tonietto made it clear that Silva's transfer will happen independently of any deal that the Swedish international striker might sign. "Is Thiago linked to Ibrahimovic in this deal? No, the two are not related," he added. "Thiago and I do not know anything, but as soon as Ibra signs, it is up to Thiago whether or not he will also sign."
