Sheffield United news

The Blades were founded back in 1889 and they have always played their home games at Bramall Lane.

FA Cup winners on four occasions (1899, 1902, 1915 and 1925), United also won the old First Division title in 1897-98. The Blades scored the first goal of the Premier League, when Brian Deane scored against Manchester United.

Notable former players include Keith Edwards, Tony Currie, Paul Stancliffe and Phil Jagielka.
