Blades ready for Trotters

Sheffield United, 11:04, January 22, 2010 ,

Sheffield United have been boosted ahead of their FA Cup trip to Bolton after Chris Morgan and Stephen Quinn signed new deals.

The Blades duo have seen the club exercise their option for another season although Matthew Kilgallon has now joined Sunderland on a three-and-a-half year deal.
On securing skipper Morgan and midfielder Quinn's immediate futures, boss Kevin Blackwell told the club's official website: "This is really good news for us, the pair have become stalwarts at Bramall Lane and will continue to play major roles in the development of the team."
Meanwhile, Marcel Seip looks set to come into the side for Kilgallon but new winger Mark Yeates is cup-tied.
Strikers Darius Henderson, Jamie Ward and Henri Camara are all pushing for places.
