Camara raring to go

Sheffield United, 14:49, November 23, 2009

Sheffield United boss Kevin Blackwell has defended his decision to not to play Henri Camara on a more regular basis.

The Senegal international has had just three outings for the side, but was the match winner against Peterborough on Saturday and now looks set for a run of games in the first team.

Blackwell explained in the Sheffield Star: "Camara is a fine-tuned athlete, you can't just throw him in. Psychologically, if players come in and they can't quite do it then it takes a long time to repair the damage.

"The players feel low, they don't take chances, they don't take risks. Why? Because the crowd will start turning, so you have to be careful not to rush players back even when you are in desperate trouble."
