Kila makes Premier League move

Sheffield United, 17:35, January 21, 2010 ,

Sunderland have reportedly won the race to sign Matthew Kilgallon from Sheffield United after the two clubs agreed a transfer fee.

The defender is believed to have undergone a medical at the Stadium of Light after agreeing terms with the Black Cats.
United have decided to cash in now on the 26-year-old rather than run the risk of losing him for nothing in the summer when his contract at Bramall Lane expires.
The 26-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation for a while, after he rejected moves to Burnley and Newcastle.
