Premier League loans arranged

Sheffield United, 17:16, November 26, 2009 ,

Blades boss Kevin Blackwell has eased his defensive injury crisis by signing Fulham's Finland international Toni Kallio on loan.

The 31-year-old, who can play centre-back or left back, has not made a first-team appearance for Fulham this season and has struggled to make an impact since moving to Craven Cottage in 2008.
He arrives at Bramall Lane until December 23, in time for a couple of days training and could go straight into the side to play Bristol City on Saturday.
Blackwell told the club's official website: "He is a big, strong player and the reports we have had on him playing for Fulham reserves suggest that he has done quite well."
Wolves goalkeeper Carl Ikeme joined the Blades in a similar loan arrangement earlier in the day.
