Wilson relief at late miss
Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson admitted his team should have been beaten by lowly Bury.
Mark Cullen was guilty of the shocking miss for the visitors, who are still without a League One win this season, during the closing stages of a forgettable match which ended 1-1. Wilson, who had earlier seen Bury goalkeeper Trevor Carson make a series of fine saves to deny Nick Blackman, said: "At the end we could have come away with nothing. So thank heaven for small mercies in that regard. "We created enough pressure to have won that match but we couldn't do anything with it. "That was a shame from our point of view but we always knew this wouldn't be an easy game. We're still pleased to be unbeaten though." Blackman, United's most dangerous player, converted debutant Paul Gallagher's pass with a well-executed volley before Peter Sweeney dragged Bury level with a 25-yard free-kick.
