Wilson wary of play-off hangover

Danny Wilson said there are no guarantees that Sheffield Unite will not suffer a hangover following their play-off final heartache.

The Blades entered the run-in last season as favourites for automatic promotion, but ended up missing out altogether after losing to Huddersfield on penalties and Wilson is hoping his players will have overcome that disappointment in time for the start of the new campaign. "I was asked similar questions last year following relegation," said Wilson. "Was there going to be a hangover after we went down into League One and I couldn't answer the question until the first game of last season. "But certainly looking at the way the boys have come in and the attitude they've shown already, it looks like it's going to be similar to last year when they were very determined to get off to a good start and get a good season under their belt. "But I'll only know when the season starts."
