Boss to assess striker options

Sheffield Wednesday boss Brian Laws will look elsewhere if he fails in his bid to land a Premier League striker on loan this week.
Laws is desperate for cover up front following injuries to Akpo Sodje and Leon Clarke and has targeted an unnamed Premier League striker, who he had hoped to land on loan.
The Owls boss wanted the mystery man in before the big midweek Championship clash at Newcastle but at the moment he remains frustrated in his bid to secure his services and has said he will look at other options should the deal not materialise.
