Duo set for Owls return
Sheffield Wednesday could be boosted by the return of defensive duo Reda Johnson and Anthony Gardner when they host Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield.
Both players returned to training this week and could be in contention for a starting place as the Owls bid to avoid a third successive defeat. Striker Gary Madine is pushing for a recall to the starting XI having made way for Jay Bothroyd during last Friday's defeat at Brighton. Madine is likely to partner the on-loan QPR striker with Rodri dropping to the bench. Fellow loanee Ross Barkley is also expected to be handed his full debut in midfield on his first appearance at Hillsborough. Injured duo Lewis Buxton (hamstring) and Chris Lines (groin) are still out.
