Sheffield Wednesday manager Dave Jones insists Reda Johnson's claims that he will be out injured for two months are inaccurate.

Defender Johnson, 24, took to social networking site Twitter to say he expected a lengthy absence after suffering a foot injury. However, following Tuesday night's 3-3 npower Championship draw at Burnley, Jones told BBC Radio Sheffield: "He isn't the specialist and that is completely different to what I've been told. "He's taken it down now and rightly so, it isn't his place to put that information out. "I don't know why he did it, he should know better. It [Twitter] is the scourge of modern football." It is the second time in as many weeks that Jones has criticised one of his players about their use of social network sites. On-loan striker Jay Bothroyd got into an argument with some of the club's fans on Twitter after being accused of not trying in the 2-1 home defeat by Bolton.
