Jones spitting Owl feathers

Dave Jones slammed his Sheffield Wednesday players despite their 4-2 victory at Oldham in the Capital One Cup first round.
The newly-promoted npower Championship side trailed 2-0 against their League One hosts, Jordan Slew and Jean-Yves Mvoto doing the early damage, meaning the Owls needed a half-time rocket from Jones before they sparked into action.
Chris O'Grady's brace, sandwiched betweeen goals from Jermain Johnson and Michail Antonio, sealed the comeback. But Jones said: "In the Championship we won't win many games from 2-0 down, if any at all.
"It's a hard league and, although we won, there's still a lot of work to do. Maybe some of the players think they've arrived, but for 45 minutes they got their backsides slapped.
"Some words were said at half-time and they'll remain private, but I asked them nicely to go out and start playing like Sheffield Wednesday.
"It was by far the worst we've played in my time at the club and I was surprised by it. They responded to what we said but, believe me, I'm still spitting feathers."
