New loan signings Warren Feeney and Tom Soares are in line for immediate Owls debuts against West Brom at the weekend.
Cardiff striker Feeney and Stoke midfielder Soares arrived at Hillsborough on month-long loan deals on Friday and will provide a major lift for Brian Laws' Wednesday side as they bid for their first win in the Championship in six games.
Midfielder Tommy Miller is forced to miss the clash against the Baggies as he has failed to overcome a hamstring problem but striker Francis Jeffers should be available after a knock on his ankle.
