Laws signs striker

Sheffield Wednesday have signed Luke Varney on loan from Derby and he could make his debut against Scunthorpe.
The striker had a spell on loan last season when scoring two goals in four appearances and boss Brian Laws, who has been on the look out for a new frontman, has swooped to sign him again.
Elswhere, Wednesday hope to have Akpo Sodje back in the side. The striker has yet to figure this season after struggling with a groin injury but has now been declared fit and should come in for the Hillsborough showdown.
Leon Clarke is not far away from returning from a hamstring problem but the game against the Iron will come too soon for him.
