Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones revealed he has had to learn fast on the job since returning to management in npower League One.

Former Southampton, Wolves and Cardiff manager Jones, 55, has not lost any of his 10 games in charge of the Owls since replacing Gary Megson in early March, but admits he is still adjusting to life in the third tier. "You can throw names at me and I might not know the players," Jones said. "I don't know the division as well as someone who's been in it for a while, I don't know every player in every division. "So we're still learning and we rely on Thommo [first-team coach Neil Thompson] and [goalkeeping coach] Andy [Rhodes] to give us a run down because myself and [assistant manager] Terry [Burton] don't know the division that well. "That's why we're becoming geeks, we're watching that many games at this level, trying to get an idea of how they play, what they do and how we can nullify that." Jones' side trail second-placed Sheffield United by four points in the race for automatic promotion to more familiar ground, the Championship, with three games remaining.
