Owls complete double swoop

Sheffield Wednesday have completed the signings of Cardiff striker Warren Feeney and Stoke City midfielder Tom Soares.
As expected Owls boss Brian Laws has signed Feeney on loan until December 28th and he hopes the striker will stick away some of the chances his side have been creating.
"Cardiff City have plenty of attacking options, having scored 33 goals in the Championship already this season, so it has been difficult for Warren to force his way into the team regularly," Laws told the club's official website.
"I am really pleased Dave Jones has allowed Warren to join us on loan because he is an attack-minded player with a lot to offer in the final third and he will give us a boost going into the festive fixtures.
"We have been creating plenty of opportunities in recent matches but we need to convert those into goals and hopefully Warren can bring something extra to the team in that respect."
Meanwhile, Potters midfielder Soares has also signed on loan and will stay with the Owls until the end of the year when the situation will again be revealed.
