Owls handed Oldham trip

Sheffield Wednesday have been drawn to play at Oldham in Round One of the Capital One Cup.

The Owls, who secured automatic promotion to the npower Championship last month, will launch their 2012/13 campaign at Boundary Park during the week commencing August 13. Wednesday won both their matches against Oldham in npower League One last season, 2-0 at Boundary Park in December and 3-0 at Hillsborough in April. They beat Blackpool 4-2 on penalties at the same stage of the competition last season before losing 3-1 at Blackburn in the second round.
