Rovers eye striker swoop

Sheffield Wednesday, 18:10, August 18, 2009 ,

Wednesday striker Francis Jeffers is being linked with a move to Donacster and a fee of £500,000 has been mentioned.

Jeffers has struggled for fitness since arriving at the club and according to reports Doncaster are ready to offer him the chance to get his career back on track at the Keepmoat Stadium.
However the player still appears to be in the plans of Brian Laws, who could play him against Newcastle on Wednesday night.
Jeffers was carrying a knock ahead of the game against Peterborough at the weekend and was rested but Owls boss Laws is expected to bring him back in tomorrow night.
