Soares extends Wednesday stay

Stoke City midfielder Tom Soares has extended his loan at Sheffield Wednesday until the end of the season.
The midfielder has been on loan at Hillsborough since November and is expected to play in Wednesday night's match away at Scunthorpe.
Soares has made seven appearances for the Owls since joining in November and Wednesday manager Alan Irvine says he is pleased to secure the services of the midfielder for the rest of the campaign.
Irvine told the club website: "He has really impressed me in the short time I have been at the club so far and he will prove a very important addition to the squad for the busy schedule of fixtures we have to come."
