Striker boost for Laws

Sheffield Wednesday will be without Leon Clarke and Akpo Sodje against Newcastle but Francis Jeffers is expected to return.
Clarke has not played this season because of a hamstring strain, while Sodje has also missed the opening two games with a groin injury to leave Brian Laws short of options in attack.
However, Wednesday are boosted by the news that Jeffers has shaken off the knock that forced him to miss the Peterborough game and he should figure at St James' Park.
If Jeffers does not make it then Jermaine Johnson could again be pushed up to play alongside Marcus Tudgay.
