Helan braced for Shrews bow

Jeremy Helan is firmly in contention for his debut as Shrewsbury play host to Colchester.

The France Under-19 international winger arrived on a month-long loan deal from Manchester City on Thursday and is set to be involved as Shrews chase a much-needed victory to drag themselves away from the bottom four.

The striker missed Tuesday's 3-1 home defeat to Yeovil, which was described by Shrews manager Graham Turner as "probably the most inept performance since I've been at the club".
