Same squad for Shrews

Shrewsbury boss Graham Turner could again name an unchanged matchday 18 as his side aim to topple early pacesetters Tranmere.

Town have put in two impressive performances on their return to England's third tier, narrowly going down 1-0 at promotion favourites Sheffield United before seeing off Preston, another side tipped to do well. Tuesday's 1-0 victory at the Greenhous Meadow put the club's first points on the board but Shrews now face another stern test in a Rovers outfit who have won all three fixtures in league and cup so far this term. Turner has named the same squad of 18 players for both of Town's league games to date and, with a couple of niggles not expected to keep anyone out at the weekend, he is expected to keep faith once more.
