Peter Ebdon came back from behind to beat Ding Junhui 6-3 and set up a China Open final with Stephen Maguire.

Home favourite Junhui dropped the opening frame but won the next three to take a 3-1 advantage going into the interval. However, Ebdon - winner in 2009 - hit back after the interval, with breaks of 54 and 69 bringing him level. Ding then overhit a vital final blue for the seventh frame to allow Ebdon to nudge into a lead he never gave up. His opponent in Sunday's final, Maguire, is also a previous winner, having lifted the title in 2008. He made it through to the final with a convincing victory over Stephen Lee, winning four consecutive post-interval frames to seal a 6-2 win.
