England's Barry Hawkins has won the Australian Open - his first ranking title - after beating fellow countryman Peter Ebdon 9-3.
Hawkins, who is ranked 23 in the world, triumphed in Bendigo seeing off his more-experienced opponent comfortably in the final after
earlier impressive victories over Matthew Selt and Mark Davis.
Hawkins' highest break was 133 and he came out on top after he converted a 5-3 afternoon advantage with ease, reeling off four frames on the bounce to secure the title.
