Hearn all for White wildcard

New snooker chief Barry Hearn has said he expects wildcard Jimmy White to create a "sizzling" atmosphere at the Masters in January.

'The Whirlwind', who has fallen to number 56 in the world rankings, will take on world number 16 Mark King in one of two first-round matches at Wembley Arena.
The six-time World Championship finalist, who recently appeared on the reality TV show 'I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here', said: "I'm delighted to get the wildcard, it will be great to be back at Wembley."
Hearn, who was recently confirmed as the new chairman of the WPBSA, is convinced the popular Londoner will help reinvigorate the sport.
He said: "He'll pack the place out and the atmosphere will be sizzling. There was no doubt in my mind that he is the man to take up the wildcard challenge."
