O'Sullivan not happy despite victory

World number one Ronnie O'Sullivan defeated old rival Peter Ebdon 6-3 to secure a place in the semi-finals of the Masters.

The 'Rocket' stormed into a 4-0 lead at the interval, including a clearance of 92 in the opening frame, before 2002 world champion Ebdon attempted to mount a fightback by winning three of the next four frames. However a 106 break for O'Sullivan sealed his passage into the last four at Wembley where he will meet Welshman Mark Williams after he defeated Shaun Murphy 6-4.
Despite progressing, O'Sullivan was not happy with his performance and told BBC Sport: "Peter could have won the game quite easily.
"I would rather be 3-0 down and hit a bit of momentum than be 3-0 up and feel like I'm stalling when I come to the table.
"Most of the time I'm missing a lot of shots and it was difficult to find confidence out there.
"The long game I've got at the moment is just laughable."
