Cork wants Premier League chance
Southampton midfielder Jack Cork admits he has a point to prove in the Premier League.
Cork, who spent 13 years at Chelsea without breaking into the first team and played 11 top-flight matches on loan at Burnley, now stands on the brink of promotion with Saints.
"It would be amazing, I'd love another chance to play at the top level," he told the club's official website.
"I still feel like I've got a bit of a point to prove - I'd like to go and play against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
"A lot of the lads have their reasons why they want to be promoted so everyone would be so excited and dead chuffed if we manage to do it."
Saints know a win at home to relegated Coventry on Saturday will send them up regardless of what third-placed West Ham do against Hull.
