Lee excited by Premier League chance

Southampton striker Tadanari Lee is determined to put his injury problems behind him and make an impact in the Premier League next season.

The 26-year-old Japan international was a big hit with Saints fans after joining in January, only to miss the climax to their promotion season with a foot injury suffered in March.
"I am happy to be part of a team that was planning and pursuing promotion to the Premier League," Lee told the club website.
"It was a good first step into English football.
"It was unfortunate not being able to play, but if I can perform next year it means the injury will turn out to be a very positive experience so I would like to do well next season.
"At the moment, my focus is on the Premier League."
