Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez has been ruled out for six weeks after picking up a thigh injury during training.

The 21-year-old who became Southampton's record signing after joining in the summer for £12million from Bologna, will now be absent for around six weeks while he recovers from a thigh injury.
The Uruguayan sustained a dead leg in a session prior to the 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday, the injury gradually got worse as his leg began to swell forcing him to get treatment in hospital.
Ramirez has been a crucial part of the Saints team this campaign and his loss will be a big blow for manager Nigel Adkins, whose side have struggled to pick up points this term.
"The muscle swelled up very much because there was nowhere for the blood to go, so there was a lot of pressure on his thigh," Adkins said.
"He has had to have a couple of days in hospital to try and relieve the pressure, so obviously he is not going to go and join the Uruguayan team over the international break."
He will also miss out on his countries World Cup Qualifiers against Argentina and Bolivia this week.
