Rickie relishing top-flight test

Rickie Lambert is determined to make the most of his belated shot at the Premier League.

The 30-year-old striker, a prolific scorer throughout his career in the lower divisions, will get his first taste of the top flight next term after helping fire Southampton to back-to-back promotions.
"It means everything, it's a dream come true," he told Saints' official website.
"I've had a long career and played lots of games for my age. To get here at 30 is something I'm over the moon with. I just can't wait for it.
"The Premier League has some of the best players in the world so I can't wait to test my wits against them."
