Saints ace stars on international duty
Southampton's Steven Davis captained Northern Ireland to a memorable draw in Portugal on Tuesday night.
The Irish came agonisingly close to securing a memorable win in Porto in their World Cup qualifier with Portugal. Niall McGinn gave Northern Ireland the lead on 30 minutes and the visitors managed to hold Portugal at bay until Helder Postiga levelled matters on 79 minutes. Davis returned from his international commitments unscathed and will be available for Southampton's trip to West Ham on Saturday as the Saints seek their first points on the road this season.
