Saints dealt Ramirez blow
Southampton have been dealt a huge blow as forward Gaston Ramirez is set to miss the club's next four games with a thigh injury.
The Saints' record signing suffered a dead leg in training which caused the thigh muscle to swell, prompting a visit to the hospital.
The injury has certainly prevented the £12m summer signing from representing Uruguay against Argentina and Bolivia over the international break, with the 21-year-old expected to be sidelined for around six weeks.
"The muscle swelled up very much because there was nowhere for the blood to go, so there was a lot of pressure on his thigh," Southampton boss Nigel Adkins said.
"He has had to have a couple of days in hospital to try and relieve the pressure, so obviously he is not going to go and join the Uruguayan team over the international break."
Southampton's last-gasp equaliser on Sunday kept the Saints out of the Premier League relegation zone in what was only their second positive result of the season.
Punters looking to use their free bet will have no doubt have noted a tricky return to Premier League duty after the international break with a trip to West Ham followed by a home clash against high-flying Spurs.
