Nigel Adkins insists Southampton are taking the Capital One Cup seriously despite the fact he plans to make changes at Stevenage.

The south coast club head to Broadhall Way looking to secure their first competitive win of the season following defeats to Manchester City and Wigan in their opening Premier League matches.
Saturday's home defeat to the Latics was particularly galling but Adkins is confident his players will respond in the right manner in the second round tie in a competition he will not be taking lightly.
"After the Wigan defeat we have got another game on Tuesday, which is good," he told Press Association Sport "Obviously it gives us an opportunity for some of the players who haven't started the last two games to start so there will be a bit of rotation.
"We will be taking it seriously, though. We want to win every game of football.
"If you have got a shirt on playing for Southampton, you have a winning mentality that we have here. We want to go out and endeavour to win every game of football."
